My Foot My Tutor is short film based on the play of the same title by Peter Handke. Like Handke’s text, the film contains no dialogue. Instead, mime is used to explore the absurdity of work and the power relations present therewithin. Through repetition and deconstruction, the execution of banal chores transforms into choreography.
